By Francesca The waves they crashed and glitt'ring fell The end of an age was come The flames they met the angered sea Whilst yet the day was young
The dove along the steel grey stones Daughter of wave and sand The last remaining child of storms Away from sea she ran
Into the cliffs and caves of old In this still youthful world Fled she, through the tall ocean mounts Of glor'ous Negledur
The dove amid the sunburnt grass Daughter of wave and sand Her sorrow fallen now to hate Across the golden land
Unto to the rivers cold and dim Flowing past field and town She with her brother, son of dawn In midst of war were found.
The dove amid the battle cries Daughter of wave and sand The sting of swords and death's sweet laugh The thousands met their ends.
And with embrace of land and tear The ocean meets again And from the dove's fell body now the river of Darkness stem.
The Ladye Crowned with Gold By Francesca Part I Beyond the moon, behind the Sun, Their eyes, they always see; Beneath the stars, above the Earth Are watching you and me.
Their souls are void as void can be A pitch-black shadow realm, Their darkened spirits slowly rise So swiftly from the ground.
A shriek, a howl, a cry of pain Came from the town below; A drop of blood, a crimson tear Fell to the silver snow.
And quickly, quietly, swiftly so The cries for help were hushed; An eerie quiet settled down And from that place she rushed.
She ran ‘till she could run no more, This weary golden girl; Until the clear and unmarred ice Blazed like never before.
So cold, so hot, this snowy fire It licked her heels like flame; And as she searched for refuge still, She knew herself to blame.
Whom else could call the shadows out, Whom else had pow’r like hers? A girl like this had not been seen For hundreds of long years.
And as she ran she thought these thoughts And cried so bitterly Her tears, they froze and fell to the ground Her soul she knew was guilty.
She had her reasons, so she thought, “Twas self-defense” she said. Yet even with such a just cause So many people bled.
She found a cavern on the side Of a tall and icy mount; And deep within, there hidden lay A misty crystal fount.
And pictured in the silver mist She saw a land of dreams; Of champions and ambitions Achieved by any means.
And here she stayed for quite a time There in her crystal cave; Wasting, wand’ring, and wishing For escape day after day.
But how she feared the vast dark world knew none would heed her plight; For none there loved a gifted girl Who cast spells in the night.
the german-spanish war By: Butters
"Let's have a war, for you have insulted my pet." said the King of Germany. "Fine with me, bring it on!" replied the King of Spain. While drinking his cold iced tea.
So the great war began, with casualties galore. Cannonballs fired and swordfights rang. The Germans pushed the Spaniards back for two whole years. But the German King was hit with a bang.
But he survived by the skin of his jagged teeth. For though the bullet hit him in the leg; He kept fighting and now and then he will say: "Just a scratch, nothing big."
The great war raged on for an agonizing two more years. Swords flew and bullwhips lashed. The Spaniards pushed back the Germans to the middle again. But the Spanish King was hit in a flash.
He still pulled through the bloody fray hanging by his arm. For though the bullwhip lashed him off a cliff. His arm gave him time to call for his men to save him from plummeting down. His men replied, "It's okay, we'll be there in a jiff."
Finally at the end of the bloody, messy war, Died the bold King of Germany. Then soon after, the proud King of Spain died as well. While drinking his cold iced tea.
Stop Haunting me: By AShlyn
I heard of a potion Not a spell But something every so sweet and ever so rare It brings the heart and soul to be parallel
"Be careful my dear." He whispered So soft But I heard
Death is a scary thing Most likely more painful, than peaceful I feared for my life I didn't want the ending to be scornful
In fact I did not desire an end at all I wanted to be remembered Not just saw
By those perilous looks of faces I wondered if they were hiding truth Would I have everlasting life or Would this potion steal my youth?
I took a deep breath Then down went the dark liquid Seeping into my veins From there my eyes then hid
I awoke to screaming and cries Tears of joy or mourning I could not decide I thought dear child of God, was this the forewarning?
I rushed to my mother Who heard, but could not see me She stepped back with a sudden shiver and said "Iris, why is your appearance so ghastly?"
I felt like I was fading into another world Awoken from my heavy slumber Bones shaken with such a jolt My age was now only a number
I am now eternal But I am not an immortal girl Death has taken my breath by sleep But was kind enough to leave me my golden curls
The sound of my voice is diminishing Others just feel my presence I should have listened I would have then kept my innocence
I thought back, I shouldn't have been so blind For their faces did cover the unrevealed truth Would I have everlasting life or Would this potion steal my youth?
The man with no name: By Patrick
A long time ago though recent it seems there was a man with no name. he had nothing of his own except for a twisted game
Every day by the road he would watch and wait for some unlucky souls to test their fate
He cheats to win he plays for keeps if you lose his game you eternally sleep
Clever he was he did not predict an ordinary man could find out his trick
This man had a friend who stood behind and told the answers that no others could find
The cards were different the trick was unraveled the man's dreams were granted The game was tackled
